On October 27, 2026, five-member K-pop group AND2BLE will release Sequence 02: Attraction, its first comeback after a remarkable debut.

The release matters because it tests whether a fanbase can move from an exceptional opening week into durable, repeat support. AND2BLE's first mini album, Sequence 01: Curiosity, sold 731,673 copies in its Hanteo first-week tally from May 26 to June 1, according to Hanteo data reported by Korea Portal and Sports Kyunghyang. The second chapter therefore arrives with a clear commercial question: was that demand a one-time transfer of attention, or the first measurable stage of a longer career?

A Debut Built on Immediate Demand

AND2BLE did not enter the market quietly. Sequence 01: Curiosity passed 500,000 copies within three days of its May 26 release, a threshold that showed how quickly the group's supporters mobilized. Sports Kyunghyang also reported No. 1 positions on Hanteo's daily album chart and Circle Chart's daily retail album chart during the opening period. Those are different indicators: one reflects album sales tracking and the other retail movement. Together, they suggest that the debut was not only a headline number at the end of the week, but a fast-moving release from its first days.

The international figures widened that picture. During the debut window, “Curious” reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs in 13 countries and regions, while the album entered iTunes Top Albums in 23 countries and regions and reached No. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart. The music video also surpassed 15 million views in the same early period, according to the two reports. None of these measurements is a substitute for long-term listening, but their combination points to a fanbase able to coordinate purchases, chart activity, and video attention across markets.

That distinction matters for a new group. A large physical-sales figure can reflect a concentrated collector economy; a multi-market digital footprint shows that the release traveled beyond one purchasing channel. AND2BLE's debut did both, giving the comeback a much higher starting line than a typical second release.

Where the Number Sits in K-pop History

But the 731,673 figure becomes more useful when it is compared with other debut-week results rather than described as simply “record-breaking.” Korea Portal reported that AND2BLE ranked fourth among K-pop group debut albums in Hanteo history at the time of its debut, behind ZEROBASEONE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and RIIZE. The benchmark is significant, but it also reveals the scale of the challenge now facing the group: its next album will be judged against an unusually high opening result.

The time-series comparison here is historical rather than a forecast. X1's Quantum Leap reached 524,007 copies from August 27 to September 2, 2019, according to Korea JoongAng Daily; RIIZE's Get A Guitar sold 1,016,849 copies from September 4 to 10, 2023, according to Korea Daily; and ZEROBASEONE's debut benchmark was reported at 1,822,028 in July 2023. AND2BLE's 731,673 copies in May–June 2026 therefore sit above X1's earlier half-million milestone, but below the two more recent million-scale benchmarks. The movement from 524,007 to 731,673 is an increase of 207,666 copies, or roughly 40 percent, while AND2BLE remains about 60 percent below ZEROBASEONE's figure.

Those comparisons do not make the groups interchangeable. ZEROBASEONE came directly from the same survival-show ecosystem that supplied several AND2BLE members, while RIIZE carried SM Entertainment's established infrastructure. The point is narrower: AND2BLE has entered a market where debut fandoms can generate extraordinary numbers, and its next release must show whether the group can retain that energy under a different narrative.

From Transferred Attention to a Group Identity

The most revealing question is not whether Attraction will outsell Curiosity. No verified second-album result exists before its October 27 release, so any prediction would be speculation. The better question is whether the group can turn inherited recognition into a distinct reason to follow five members as AND2BLE.

That challenge is built into the group's history. Korea Portal reported that four members had previously belonged to ZEROBASEONE, while Yoo Seungeon had also been part of EVNNE. Earlier fandom connections can explain why the debut moved quickly, but they cannot alone explain a sustainable second era. Fans may arrive through familiar names; they stay when the new group's music, performances, and internal chemistry give those names a new context.

The album sequence offers one attempt at that context. Curiosity introduced the first emotional step, while Attraction is presented as a progression from wondering about someone to becoming more directly interested. The concept-photo rollout uses “Observe,” “Attraction,” and “Archive” versions, followed by a track list, highlight medley, and music-video teaser. This staged structure is standard K-pop promotion, but it also gives the group a serialized identity that can be followed across releases.

In other words, the campaign is not only selling a new collection of songs. It is asking fans to read a continuing story and to treat the comeback as development rather than reset. That may help AND2BLE separate a recognizable lineup from a temporary project in the public imagination.

Why Four Cities Matter More Than a Trophy Count

Physical and digital data show attention; live activity tests commitment. YH Entertainment's official Weverse notice lists the 2026 AND2BLE SHOW CONCERT across Seoul, Yokohama, Kobe, and Macau in June and July. The four-city route is not proof of a permanent touring business, but it gives the group an opportunity to turn a release-week audience into people who will show up repeatedly.

The geography is also instructive. The schedule combines a home-market launch with Japan and Macau, two places where K-pop acts often build contact through repeated visits and local promotion. That is a different kind of signal from an iTunes peak. A chart rank can disappear after a reporting window; a concert creates a memory, a community, and a reason to watch the next announcement.

By the time Attraction arrives, the group will therefore be measured on several layers at once: album sales, song discovery, visual engagement, and the quality of the relationship built through live events. The debut numbers establish credibility. The follow-up has to give that credibility a shape.

The October Test

The release schedule concentrates the next test on one day. The album and title-track music video are scheduled for 6 p.m. KST on October 27, followed by a fan showcase at 8 p.m. The compressed sequence should make the comeback easy for supporters to gather around, but the early response will still need time before it can be interpreted responsibly.

The useful benchmarks are already clear. A result near the debut figure would suggest strong retention. A meaningful increase would indicate that the group has expanded beyond its inherited base. A decline would not automatically mean failure; the more important questions would be whether streaming, repeat chart presence, and later sales show depth beyond the first week.

AND2BLE begins its second chapter with a rare advantage and a rare burden. Its 731,673-copy debut, 15 million-plus music-video views, 13-country iTunes song wins, and four-city concert route prove that attention arrived quickly. Sequence 02: Attraction will reveal whether that attention has become a durable group identity. Until the October data arrives, the strongest conclusion is also the most measured one: AND2BLE has already cleared the debut hurdle, but the career test starts now.
