Actor Cha Seung Won proved once again why he is the undisputed boss of tvN's hit variety sitcom Chagane, as episode 9 descended into hilarious chaos during a late-night game showdown in Busan. The March 5 broadcast had viewers in stitches as the self-proclaimed gang leader's refusal to play by the rules left his castmates fuming.

A Busan Business Trip Gone Sideways

The episode followed the Chagane crew — Cha Seung Won, martial artist Choo Sung Hoon, Tommy, rapper DinDin, and Danny Gu — on their continuing mission to expand their kimchi business. After arriving in Busan to research kimchi recipes at a shared kitchen, the members decided to pass the evening with a friendly game of Yut-nori, a traditional Korean board game, with late-night snacks on the line.

What started as a casual suggestion quickly spiraled into bedlam. When DinDin proposed simple games like marbles, Cha Seung Won insisted on Yut-nori, declaring he wanted something they could enjoy for a long time. He also showed off his competitive side during a warm-up round of Gonggi-noli, the Korean version of jacks, boasting that his eyes light up with fire once the real games begin.

The Boss Makes His Own Rules

The three-team match pitted Choo Sung Hoon and Tommy on the red team against DinDin flying solo on white, with Cha Seung Won and Danny Gu forming the blue squad. From the very first throw, tensions mounted.
