He said he would see me again in five years, Yoo wrote, sharing his immense relief with followers.

Yoo Eun Sung first publicly revealed his brain tumor diagnosis in 2023 during an appearance on the SBS variety show Dong Sang I Mong 2, shocking viewers and the entertainment community. At that time, he explained that the tumor had not grown rapidly enough to warrant immediate surgery, so he and his medical team had opted for a monitoring approach with regular follow-up examinations.

However, the health challenges did not end there. In September of last year, Yoo underwent surgery after a bone in his right shoulder had grown into his tendons, tearing about half of them. During the procedure, doctors also discovered a benign bone tumor in the area that needed surgical attention. He spent eight nights and nine days in the hospital recovering from the operation, a difficult period he shared openly with his followers.
