AND2BLE made its official debut on May 26, giving K-pop fans a rare rookie story built on familiar faces and a clear second-start narrative. The five-member boy group released its first mini album, Sequence 01: Curiosity, with the title track Curious after a media showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul.

The debut matters because AND2BLE is not entering the field as a typical unknown rookie act. The lineup brings together Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin, who previously promoted through ZEROBASEONE, with Yoo Seungeon, who was known to many fans through EVNNE. That history gives the group an unusual mix of rookie energy, stage experience and built-in global attention.

At the showcase, the members framed the day less as a simple launch and more as a reset. Zhang Hao said the team had prepared its first album with the weight of knowing how precious stages and fans can be, while Yoo Seungeon spoke about the excitement of meeting fans again under a new name. Their comments pointed to the central tension around AND2BLE: the members are starting over, but they are not starting from zero.

A Debut Built Around Curiosity

Sequence 01: Curiosity introduces AND2BLE through the idea of curiosity as a first instinct. Korean reports described the album as the opening chapter of the group’s journey, using curiosity to show the moment when excitement and uncertainty begin to overlap. For international fans, that concept also works as a neat explanation of where the members are now: they are stepping into a new team while carrying memories from their previous projects.

The album contains five tracks: the title song Curious, the sub-title track Aura, and the B-sides Sugar Rush, Bed and Happy &. That track list gives the group room to show more than one tone on its first release. Reports from the showcase and earlier album previews described Curious as an EDM track that blends synth-pop and future house, built around house beats and heavy synth bass.

The title song also carries a personal detail that fans are likely to notice. Zhang Hao and Ricky participated in writing lyrics for Curious, giving the debut track a direct connection to the members’ own voices. The song’s message centers on facing the change that comes with a new beginning without fear, a theme that fits naturally with a group made of artists moving from one chapter of their careers to another.

That message was reinforced by the album’s pre-release rollout. English-language K-pop coverage noted that AND2BLE had already teased the project through a highlight medley, concept material and a debut showcase plan before the release day. The group also scheduled a fan showcase for the evening of May 26, giving fans a second point of contact after the afternoon media event and the 6 p.m. KST album release.

Why The Lineup Is Getting Attention

AND2BLE is being presented as YH Entertainment’s first boy group in about four years, which raises expectations around how the agency will position the team in the crowded fifth-generation boy group field. The members’ previous exposure adds another layer. ZEROBASEONE was formed through the 2023 Mnet survival program Boys Planet, and its members developed a strong international fan base during the project group’s run.

For Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin, AND2BLE offers a chance to continue that momentum in a permanent team under their agency. Yoo Seungeon’s addition gives the group a familiar voice for fans who followed EVNNE, another act connected to the wider Boys Planet ecosystem. Korean coverage repeatedly highlighted that the five members already had stage experience, which shaped the way reporters and fans looked at the debut.

Zhang Hao, who is taking on the leader role, spoke about growing into that responsibility with help from his members. He said he had moments where he felt inexperienced, especially when handling Korean-language remarks, but that the other members kept supporting him. He described wanting to lead AND2BLE freely while also building a team that the members could proudly claim as their own.

That balance between freedom and pressure is important. K-pop debuts are often judged quickly, especially when members come from famous survival shows. AND2BLE has to satisfy fans who already know each member while convincing casual listeners that the new team has its own reason to exist. A concept based on curiosity gives the group a flexible starting point, but the performances and music will decide whether that curiosity lasts.

Teamwork, Vocals And The Promise Of A New Start

The members leaned heavily into teamwork during the showcase. Zhang Hao said he felt the five-member composition was strong because each member understands the value of being onstage. Yoo Seungeon said the group’s long history together as trainees helped create trust, and he expressed confidence that the team could leave a mark on K-pop if it continued to build on that bond.

Yoo Seungeon’s role also stood out in the coverage. He discussed joining AND2BLE after a period of thinking about his future and said the preparation process felt comfortable because of the members’ chemistry. He also identified vocals as his strength and said he wanted to become a main vocalist whose voice listeners could remember wherever they heard it.

Kim Gyuvin and Han Yujin added more detail about the preparation process. Korean reports quoted Kim as saying he worked on both practice and physical conditioning to show a more complete version of himself, while Han Yujin spoke about wanting to look more mature now that he is entering this new stage as an adult artist. Those comments make the debut feel less like a fast reassembly and more like a deliberate attempt to sharpen each member’s identity.

The group also addressed the emotional question many fans had: how they feel about promoting around the same time as former teammates and related acts. Kim Gyuvin said he had exchanged supportive messages with ZEROBASEONE members, especially because he still meets artists through his broadcast schedule. Zhang Hao said he remains close with the members he shared time with, and Yoo Seungeon sent a similar message of support toward EVNNE.

What Fans Should Watch Next

For fans, AND2BLE’s first week will be about more than chart numbers. The debut will test how quickly the group can turn name recognition into a stable identity. The clearest early signals will come from live stages for Curious, how the group handles its fan showcase, and whether listeners connect with the album tracks beyond the title song.

Aura, Sugar Rush, Bed and Happy & give AND2BLE several ways to broaden that identity. Earlier English coverage described the album as moving through different genres, including pop, R&B, dance-pop and alternative pop elements. That variety could help the group avoid being defined only by its survival-show background, especially if one of the B-sides gains traction among fans.

The debut also arrives at a time when fifth-generation boy groups are competing not only on performance but on concept clarity. AND2BLE’s advantage is that its members already know how to handle intense attention. Its challenge is that fans will expect growth immediately. The group’s own framing suggests it understands both sides of that equation.

By the end of the showcase, AND2BLE’s message was direct: the members want to be seen as a fresh team, not just a continuation of past projects. Their debut does not erase ZEROBASEONE or EVNNE from the conversation, and it does not need to. Instead, Sequence 01: Curiosity uses that history as the prologue to a new group whose first test begins now.
