Masahiko Kondo, known by his nickname Matchy, is a Japanese singer and actor who was one of the defining figures of Japan idol era in the 1980s. His debut single Sneaker Blues topped the Oricon chart in 1980, and he won the Japan Record Award Grand Prize in 1987. His iconic song Kinkiragini Sarigena Ku was popular across East Asia.
